Pakistan Cricket Team is facing South Africa for an all-format series after many years. The teams haven’t played each other in such a setting since 2019.
While South Africa has had a brimming start by beating Pakistan with 11 runs, there are still hopes for the latter team. The next two ODIs are also to be played at SuperSoft Park, Centurion and The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.
The T20 squad of Pakistan which was announced back on December 4 has got many top names returned. While they were rested for the Zimbabwe tour, Muhammad Rizwan, Baber Azam, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been called back for the T20 matches.
With a record of winning two previous bi-lateral series with South Africa, Pakistan has all the hopes to beat them yet again at their homeland.
The comeback of Baber, Naseem, Afridi and Rizwan is an incredible move for the team’s development. With the fitness and experience they bring, winning chances of PCT have majorly increased.
While the wickets of South Africa are a bit challenging, pacers in the team can really benefit from the conditions in the upcoming matches.
Having a winning momentum from the series played with Zimbabwe and the previous winning streak against South Africa, PCT is all focused at working on their weak points from the first T20 and to come out stronger in the upcoming games.
